The store sells, Obama mugs, Obama hats, t-shirts with his image that say, "Yes we did!" Does anyone have a problem with this?

I don't know. Did they sell other American memorabilia before Obama became President? This is the store in NYC, isn't it? They have a fair number of international customers?

What's wrong with the NATIONAL BROADCASTING CORPORATION being patriotic?

Didn't patriotism used to be a good thing in this country?

I think that stuff is stupid and wouldn't buy any of it because I voted for Bob Barr, but why shouldn't a privately owned company be allowed to express patriotism?

Umm...they're a supposed news organization. They're not suppose to be rooting for the president; they're suppose to report skeptically and without bias. Did they have shelves stocked with GWB memorabilia after his victories?

Believe it or not, I never knew I needed to worry about what was sold in the NBC gift shop. Now that I know...nah, I still don't worry about it.

No. They are an entertainment company. NBC also produces Comedy, Drama, Reality, Contest and other kinds of TV programs in addition to news.
Plus, after the 2000 election, any company with half a brain would steer clear of any politics because of the whole "Gore didn't lose" BS.

The Fox Store sells Michael Moore films, isn't that worse?
