Anyone thinking that Barry is going to have the same effect on Democrats?
The main problem with the GWB administration is that they were busy looking back into the past (trying to keep the financial staus quo, avenging his father in Iraq, maintaining the "old way of life") GWB was a 1950s President in a new millenium.

Obama is a forward-looking President; a visionary. He sees America as it should be. Obama has the drive to fix some of the foundation problems that this country has in order to move us into a more powerful position in the decades to come....starting with healthcare.

People keep screaming about Obama's healthcare reform but it is really on the order of FDR's Social Security Administration.

A lot of the people who are against healthcare reform benefit greatly from Social Security and Medicare. Somehow these same people have no problem with passing on the financial burdens of "Socialism" Security to the younger generations (when it benefits themselves directly, of course)

And how is the next expansion of these programs going to be any different?

Haven't we learned that the goal is PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY and not some vision or illusion.

Wage REFORM is needed BEFORE any of this hokus pokus can work.

Being visionary is fine when the scenes occur in proper order otherwise it's called being something else.

Nothing of substance there. Can't believe you haven't been suspended yet.

Sadly I think he's got subtances, you know the kind that are smoked, snorted and injected.

Double the deficit from this diagram. By the time Bush left the office, this country was over $800 trillion in debt

What surplus was this?

If there was an actual surplus, the deficit and debt would have come down.

This guy sums the thought up nicely:

"While not defending the increase of the federal debt under President Bush, it's curious to see Clinton's record promoted as having generated a surplus. It never happened. There was never a surplus and the facts support that position. In fact, far from a $360 billion reduction in the national debt in FY1998-FY2000, there was an increase of $281 billion."

The Myth of the Clinton Surplus

Very interesting peak there on your chart, though. Similar to light diesel truck owners who claim their 300+ horsepower trucks get 30 MPGs every time diesel prices shoot past $3.00/gal...the numbers get grander every time.

As for anyone voting for Duhbya twice, Gore was a lost cause. Kerry just had to stop coming across as a crybaby. Anyone who has as many houses and is also part of the big ketchup family just has way too many sob stories to tell. How else did Duhbya get a free ride to a second term? Exactly, screw a campaign badly enough. Demand better from your party next time.

Love, sorry to kill the ephoria from your conspiracy theories. Official figures and facts are available for everyone to read. The only party I follow is the ones I attend with friends. I don't support any specific political party. I think people should focus on solutions, not on what 'party' someone belongs to. These solutions can exist on both sides of the fence.

Uniquely, barely ever did any solution whatsoever exist with George W Bush; the absolute disaster for any form of leadership. He should have drowned himself during one of his drunken binges. Then we wouldn't have been in this mess.

Never used drugs in my whole life. Drugs don't interest me or do anything for me or enhance my life in any way, shape or form. My substance is probably called "been there, seen that". Its amazing how much it can bring a person out of a small thinking pattern. You should try it sometime.

Go read about exchange and non-exchange revenue. Then study the Federal agencies financial statements as required by the CFO Act. After you've done that you'll be able to understand the issues.

He would only spend, spend, spend. And here you are - whining about Obama! You just don't want a black man as a president. That's the truth.

Obama is in the landslide effect of G W Bush's disasters. It will take several years to stop completely and get on the upstream, but a good indication is that it hasn't gotten far worse. This means the enormous landslide caused by Bush is slowing down.

There is those liberal buzz words again- "stupid", "moron". Where is "racist" (you touched on it with the black man statement, but just didn't quite get there)? If things are so good, why is unemployment up, personal incomes down, tax revenues down, and GDP down?
