If you mean that fraud and constructive fraud have been used to confuse three generations of "voluntary" socialist serfs, I concur.
If you mean that every abuse by government was done through our own consent, we are in agreement.

You didn't get my drift.

Your concern with a discussion at the constitutional level ignores the many means for elites to manipulate the society by using their wealth to work around LAWS, TAXES, and REGULATIONS.

You may be confusing predatory usury (and their allies, the socialists) with harmless capitalism. But that is reasonable, since 1935, the U.S.A. has not been a capitalist country.

Let us consider what socialism and communism opposes:
CAPITALISM - An economic system in which the means of production, distribution and exchange are privately owned and operated for private profit.
- - - Webster's Dictionary
A farmer who owns his farm enjoys capitalism. A farmer who does not is a tenant.
A laborer who owns the fruits of his labor enjoys capitalism. A laborer who does not is a slave.
PRIVATE PROPERTY - "As protected from being taken for public uses, is such property as belongs absolutely to an individual, and of which he has the exclusive right of disposition. Property of a specific, fixed and tangible nature, capable of being in possession and transmitted to another, such as houses, lands, and chattels."
- - - Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p.1217
If you concatenate capitalism with private property, you can see the "inconvenient truth".
Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production, distribution and exchange are absolutely owned by individuals and operated for their individual profit.
Anything else is NOT capitalism, including usury (which likes to call its nefarious scheme "capitalizing") and limited liability artificial persons (stock corporations).

In some respects, the rise in foreign "misadventures" runs parallel with the "Socialist" revolution, as more and more infrastructure was taken from the private sector by the 'benign' socialists.

(Prior to the 20th century, most infrastructure was privately owned and operated, for profit. Including many bridges, ferries, boats, railroads, urban rail systems and toll roads. Thanks to the communist Income Tax, that changed abruptly.)

You've re-entered your echo chamber, so I'll say good night now.

I think you missed the point that SOVEREIGN AMERICANS are not liable for socialist taxes, rules and regulations, that only apply to "persons liable".

Don't believe me - go read the laws yourself.

There are so many "trap doors" and catch-22 phrases, that without our consent, 99% of the government's power and authority would evaporate like dew on a sunny day.

4 levels of escalation when discussing an issue /new idea / revolution :
  1. ignore,
  2. ridicule,
  3. fight,
  4. win
Americans have been taught to ignore their own historical documents, in the public record, available in any county courthouse law library.
Those who point these facts out, are met with ridicule and opposition.
But truth should trump disinformation. And that means a solid win for those who demand specific performance to the compact defined in the organic documents that founded these united States of America.

Just say "NO" to socialism...
(and every other "ism" that attacks the private property rights of the sovereign American people).

Your anti-Social Security screed is 70 years too late. Maybe you should find something more contemporary to obsess over.
IF some immigrants are greedy, do you jump to the conclusion that ALL immigrants are greedy?

And if Brooklyn, NY, is corrupted, does that mean all towns, with immigrants are corrupted?

Regarding my opposition to national socialism (aka Socialist InSecurity), it is never too late to oppose evil.
Socialists are predators and pirates, seeking to despoil property owners, through the awesome power of government.
Tolerance of predators is unmerciful to their next victim.
