Children are "lead" from the time they're born...by their parents, TV, teachers, peers, movies, advertising.....children who watch TV are "lead"....is it the right direction?

You are a very naive person, as many are. You voted for Change and Hope and you got it, and allot are finding out its not the Hope and Change they wanted. Surely you have not investigated the political beliefs of every teacher your child(ren) have ever had and ever will. You would be surprised if you did. My kids have had all kinds of teachers over the years, including some I disagreed with.
And it's not just the teachers! There are the coaches, the guest speakers, the school nurses, secretaries, janitors, and cafeteria workers. Any and all of these people are capable of holding beliefs you do not agree with. Is it not OK for the cafeteria worker to say, "peaches or pears?" if s/he voted for Obama?
