Please point out exactly where I posted that repubs didn't work hard? I didn't so you can't. Please quit putting words in my posts that aren't there...it's not honest.

Don't know what your post has to do with mine but as for ....

"""If it weren't for those of us out here creating jobs,"""

Uh, you are not doing a very good job.......

BUSH gave the wealthiest a huge tax CUT and Repubs said they would use it to create jobs.....WHERE ARE THE JOBS!?????????

Oh wait! Some where in there it'll be Obama's fault....

I dont want anyone talking to my kid, without me present. Teachers are trusted people of the community and dont put political views out to them.
Does that make sense. I dont like him or trust him, and his past is my reasoning. If you cant see his past as his influencing his decisions to the future you are very naive.
But my post you quoted really had to do with the fact he could have allot of influence in our government in his time in the Senate and his own state legislation if he would have just voted or stood up for what he thought was wrong. BUT HE DIDNT, he was only concerned about being PRESIDENT

Here is my response to you, posted on the education forum earlier today:

If you need that much control, you probably should home school, eschew scouts, church groups (you can't believe what my kids came home from youth group to tell me), sports (ditto), babysitters and everything else where they might come in contact with a "new" idea.

Obama was actually elected by a larger margin than Bush, either time, and many others.

This is a publicity stunt - pure and simple - engineered by the White House.
I do not see anything wrong with a motivational speech by the POTUS. That is the subject of many a school assembly. Some people might consider it a presidential responsibility to give the kids a "pep talk" at the beginning of the school year.

Katiana. I have no problem with people I TRUST talking to my kids. Obama is not trusted by me or the WORLD, open your eyes, not your hands for hand outs. He is not what you think. Its a free country, and I know he wast voted, well bought his Presidency with very large backings by radicals(Look these people up, and where he was born (his neighbors live down the road from some very good friends and they never saw him or his white Mom there). You are a very naive person, as many are. You voted for Change and Hope and you got it, and allot are finding out its not the Hope and Change they wanted. SOCIALISM is his agenda, as he was brought up on this his entire life.
Believe the voting system works, fine, thats your right. I believe money and power get you the president.
Believe what you want, a little over three years to go.

OH WELL! That PROVES he's not a citizen!!...."Nosey neighbors, knowing that one day Obama will run for office , keep track of the comings and goings in a house down the block . They report , with the aid of their photographic memory (or was it the hidden cameras??) that Obama did not live where he said he did.......LOL!

Oh, for God's sake, he's going to talk to them about working hard in school! You do not seem to understand how schools operate.

Surely you have not investigated the political beliefs of every teacher your child(ren) have ever had and ever will. You would be surprised if you did. My kids have had all kinds of teachers over the years, including some I disagreed with.

And it's not just the teachers! There are the coaches, the guest speakers, the school nurses, secretaries, janitors, and cafeteria workers. Any and all of these people are capable of holding beliefs you do not agree with. Is it not OK for the cafeteria worker to say, "peaches or pears?" if s/he voted for Obama?

Translated to truth:

"""I lost the argument and can't admit it and am not willing to open my eyes or ears and really sit down and look at other's viewpoints.. I can't name anyone who got to be president without money or power backing them. Nor do I really know who my children may overhear.""""

And I don't get where you think WE are disillusioned...we are about as lusioned as ya can get!!!!
