"Community organizer" (Giuliani, Obama, radio, town)

Remember all the non sense about this? Not long ago we saw endless threads attacking Obama for being a "Community Organizer". It was on every right wing blog, radio channel, website, and cable show. Giuliani even made it a punchline at the GOP convention. Does anybody else see the irony in all the birfer, teabag, town hall screamers and 9-12 get-togethers?

Hmmm...what would a person be called that rallied all these people together, especially at a local level? What would we call that person?
