Is there a better indicator of Americans standing up and saying NO to far left ideas which don't work, and saying YES to personal responsibility and freedom?
You liberals have 60 seats in the senate and 255 seats in the house, THE most liberal U.S. Senator of recent time in the White House and you still can't pass the Public Option.
Which means guess what? IT WILL NEVER happen or at least not anytime in the foreseeable future.
The chance would have been now and it has slipped away. And come 2010, the liberals hold on power will begin slipping as the Republicans start to pick up seats. Mark my words.

That's true. I guess if the public option is not dead because the Dems ram it through, then the Dems will lose all power in 2010 and 2012.
Under this scenario, would the Repubs be willing/able to revoke the public option?
I kind of think they wouldn't have the guts to repeal this if it passes. An Aussie friend told me that although most Americans won't like socialized medicine, and it will be the result, they would never push to get rid of it just as the Aussies haven't.
