I am sick of liberals asking me to do their homework when they can't come up with a rebuttal. Do your own research. You know darn well the majority of debt was owned by China before this administration decided to start printing money. Even the Chinese don't want our debt anymore. We had to buy our own.
The Fed calls it "quantitative easing" or the purchasing of Treasuries.
Bernake announced that the Fed would be doing this last year.
Also known as "monetizing the debt" but that sounds ugly.
As China decreased their Treasury purchases the Fed increased the Treasury purchases.
Amazing, isn't it? No critical thinking skills, not enough curiosity to even click the link and read the article, no hint of a $hit-detector..... They get all the "knowledge" they have from buzzwords and bumper stickers......and subject lines on internet forums.
