Glenn Beck's ratings are through the roof. As much as people mock him, more people are tuning in to watch him. I think posts like yours are boosting his ratings. He should send you a fruitcake for the Holidays.

People watch Beck for the same reason they rubber neck to see car wrecks, they love gory stuff caused by drunks.
My wife plays the "Screaming Glenn Beck" video at least once a day so we can laugh our asses off AT him. He's just another no-ethics mental midget who's learned how to get ratings, nothing more. When Beck loses his TV gig, he can always go on the comedy circuit now that Screaming Sam Kinnison is dead.

Gary, you must know that Beck doesn't actually believe any of this stuff? It's entertainment for this guy. The more outrageous his show, the more money he makes. I heard him in a radio interview several months back. He sounded like a completely different person. When the interviewer asked him if he really believed the stuff he said, he just laughed and said something that made it clear that it's just a "show" to him, in the entertainment sense of the word. Of course, the fact that he doesn't believe it, and is willing to play with fire for a buck, makes him just that much more despicable.
