Agreed. So I think it is more that Dems will be thrown out..as opposed to calling it a win for the GOP..We need someone to fill the seats..

I don't think the party is strong enough to take back a majority, unless the Dems really screw up bad(which is possible)

Personally, I agree with monkeywrenching, I'd like to see more Libertarians and constitutionalists in there.

While I agree that Libertarians/Constitutionalists would be a welcome change, the Republican/Democrat designed election laws really don't make that a realistic possibility.

So I think that the Republicans will get back control given that the current regime and congress is really scaring the crap out of everyone who doesn't masturbate while reading The Capital.

Too early to tell. If the Democrats make the changes in policy they promised including healthcare and the wars and the economy is in better shape, they will be fine. If they fail, they will get bloodied. It is really up to the Democrats themselves.

Interesting point of view. The dems proposals for changing Healthcare are EXACTLY why they are in trouble. I voted that the repubs will take back some seats.

IF the dems ram through heathcare with a public option, then I believe the repubs will take back congress.

if any congressional seat is taken by Libertarians or Constituionalists, it will be on the representitive side and not the senate side 1st.
