Some media analysts say it's a sign that the mainstream news media are biased and out of touch, which is driving conservatives to find their information in other forms of media.
99% of Americans really don't care about the relationship between politics and the media. Only those who watch cable news seem to have a obsession with it.

Most Americans watch TV news for:

1. Local Weather & Traffic Inforamtion
2. Sports
3. Local News (city/state)
4. Entertainment News
5. Business News

If a story takes more then 2 minutes to explain, they are ready to switch channels.

Those who watch cable news are either addicted to it (FOMO) or are forced to watch by location (in the gym, auto repair shop waiting room etc). Most Americans would change channels no matter what view point was being expressed.

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?"

That is a disgrace. We have a racist communist who is a Truther and thinks whites are directing their toxins into the minorities and no one reports on that? What is wrong with these people? What is wrong with the American people that they are not demanding this stop?
