Incorrect. The federal FUTA tax is paid by employers, but some states do indeed have unemployment insurance which is billed to the employees. PA for example, has a SUI tax which is paid by the employees.
And considering that you say you havent paid into unemployment, which further proves how much of a welfare program it is. Its taking money from someone else, giving it to you, to compensate you for failure to save up funds, in the event you were ever laid off. This is welfare.. PERIOD..
Call it what it is and move on, after all, its so cool nowadays to need welfare..

I don't have any experience in this area but I'm willing to help any way I can. I do have a contact at NELP and if you are able to organize a date and time for a march I can probably get it posted on their site. I can also do a video on YouTube announcing the march once the plans are finalized.
