Was it really necessary to do a whole report on this non-issue? Oh... my mistake, painting white conservatives as racist anti-education/healthcare mobs works to their political advantage. Anyone who buys into the lie that white conservative dislike Obama simply because he is black is spewing ignorance. Yes, there are racists out there... of every color and background in this nation. But these anti-Obamians aren't upset over his race, they're upset over the fact that he has a generally socialistic agenda, and they don't want him speaking to their kids. Whether that's right or wrong, I'll let you decide. But when people in the media turn everything into a race issue, it really brings out the best in the business of hypocrisy. The people in the left are the first to preach tolerance, diversity, etc (all traits that I truly believe in). But who's the first to point out the differences in people and to pull the race card? Yep. You're tolerant and "uniting" left wing.

Don't get me wrong, I know that some of these parents are anti Obama because he is black and/or "Muslim." But because I come from the same socioeconomic background as these people, I can promise you that the vast majority of them hate him for other reasons, and many of those reasons are also false. But PLEASE, stop turning everything into a race issue. It's dividing, deceptive, and counterproductive.

Oh what wonderfully convenient excuse that would be if it were true.

We've seen the racists.

They are Obama's friends and, of course, Obama.

When we see videos of teenage boys marching around in military style clothing, swearing a pseudo oath to 0bama, and a professionally made video of young children singing a "change, hope, change," we start thinking its a bit creep, and reminiscent of what we see in communist regimes. Add to all of this, the symbols, the sycophant, messianic posters, photos, comments, and fainting people during his campaign rallies, and that too becomes a bit creepy.

Forgive us for feeling uncomfortable with these things, when we have seen plenty of communist and fascist regimes whose leaders go thru the same motions of saturating the public with their image, and having school children praising them with songs. 0bama may not have his image plastered all over the country like Saddam Husein did, but 0bama makes sure his his face is plastered all over our TV sets 24/7. But that isn't enough for 0bama, now he thinks he needs even more face time with the children.

Sorry if we feel a bit of deja vu, and it is creeping us out.

Is this accurate or not!

Of course it's accurate.
So is the fact that the Obama plan was written by Reid, Emmanuel, Schumer, and Axelrod. Does that mean that only white men are interested in healthcare reform? Or that all black presidents are incapable of developing their own plans?

Accuracy and validity are not always synonymous. And race has nothing to do with it.

I agree, for the most part because I don't actually know anyone who hates 0bama. I think that, besides the emotionally unbalanced racists, people opposing 0bama simply do not trust him or his motives, and think he has been deceitful. We also wonder who the hell is in charge, because it seems as if someone is pulling his strings.

Let's not make everything about race, but let's not pretend an element of it isn't there when in reality it is.
What the heck? I am as brown as the day is long and I can't stand Obama, his policies, many of his thoughts on what's right or wrong...and it does not have one darn thing to do with race.

What is wrong with you people? You really don't believe people could despise the guy for something other than the color of his skin? Yeah, there might be some wacko racists out there, but give your fellow countrymen some credit.

This is pathetic.

I do not see how 1,000+ page bills can appear out of thin air, so it seem obvious that all these plans and bills were written long ago, and simply dusted off for 0bama to sign. Which begs the question, who is writing all these bills.

In the President's defense, though, it is beyond the realm of plausibility that any one person could possibly master the seemingly endless number of extremely difficult and complex dilemmas which have presented themselves, one after another, to this fledgling administration.

Mr. Obama would have to be some kind of superhuman to function without any number of influential and persuasive assistants and consultants -- just like any other president.

We can only hope that Mr. Obama's staff and confidants are more savvy and balanced in their perspectives than Mr, Bush's were. Unfortunately, their performance on the healthcare reform issue do not provide much hope thus far...

Collections of lobbyists, consultants, and administrative aides. As is the case in 99.9% of all legislation -- be it federal, state, or local.
