LMAO....

For an incredibly detailed explanation of what this actually means, and how U.S. foreign policy has run roughshod over South America for decades (and how we supported the strangling of democracy there) read this book:

Amazon.com: The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism (9780312427993): Naomi Klein: Books

Odanny. You probably need to sit down, as I have some bad news for you.

IF YOU SUPPORT FACISTS AND THE PRINCIPLES OF FACISM, YOU ARE PROBABLY A FACIST. Do a little introspection today on your holiday and try to examine why your views are more consistent with Chavez than Jefferson. You see, people who believe in democracy and the republic do not support, sanctify, or condone facist dictators.

??????????????????????? I think you need to read about Saddam and read a little history. As I recall, the Bath party had been in power since the 1960s and Saddam's model was Stalin, not Rumsfeld.

Your point would have made more sense if you had said that Saddam's model was Curly from the Three Stooges, or Moon Unit Zappa.

First off, get your history right (along with your spelling) . He is a socialist, not a fascist. A fascist uses multi-nationals and/or state industry to wield power, often thru military force, while subjugating ones people and using unjustified military force.

Hate to totally burst your bubble, but your boy George W. Bush meets the criteria more than Chavez if we are talking fascists or dictators.

Given the choice between GWB or Chavez, it's a no brainer: I'd take Chavez 100 out of 100 times.

It's assured to happen in only one country in South America: Colombia.

Who also happens to be our closest ally in region. Gee, what a shocker!
