Are there really people this ignorant living in this country? I don't understand how a person can be so foolish. How does this happen to someone?

Conservatives are all about black/white, good/evil, there is never any gray area. Of course the press should be free, I never defended him completely. I merely said he is better than Bush and nowhere near as bad as our last President
But, to reiterate my earlier point, if you think that Chvez is so bad, how many innocent civilians were killed on his orders? I'd say the idiot frat boy from Texas is much closer to a 'fascist' then Chavez.

First off, get your history right (along with your spelling) . He is a socialist, not a fascist. A fascist uses multi-nationals and/or state industry to wield power, often thru military force, while subjugating ones people and using unjustified military force.
Hate to totally burst your bubble, but your boy George W. Bush meets the criteria more than Chavez if we are talking fascists or dictators.
Given the choice between GWB or Chavez, it's a no brainer: I'd take Chavez 100 out of 100 times.

I was never a Bush fan, as I thought he was a left wing liberal. Could you explain to me how many US citizens Bush killed? I think Clinton's body count was a little higher from Waco and Ruby Ridge. Perhaps if you nuts had allowed the FBI to arrest and torture Mohammed Ata, there never would have been a 9/11 and the two wars it triggered. Think about that next time.
Relative comparisons, a favorite tactic of the left, is meaningless. All you end up doing is looking more and more ridiculous by defending facist dictators who kill thier own citizens without the slightest consideration like Chavez, Castro, Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, and Hitler- all great guys in the new liberal dictator rehabilitation program. Gee, Obama looks okay compared to worse tyrants- so far.

I do not agree with your opinion of President Bush on probably any level. Even if Bush was the person you claim, that has no bearing on what type of person Chavez is.
To actually say that Chavez has it right on his comments regarding yhe U.S. is about as extreme leftist and ignorant a statement someone could make.
Either you don't understand what type of leader Chavez is or you do and then your endorsement of him in any way is absolutely frightening.

Actually, whats not understood is your understanding of American hegemony in South America over the last half century. I assure you that military means is not the only way to exert force.
I'm pretty sure you have no clue as yo U.S. involvement in this region of the world and that is what I agreed with. His view of American influence in the region. He knows it better than you, and I'll tell ya what else, so do millions of others in the hemisphere
