The CA bar complaints have nothing to do with "filing stupid lawsuits"...
I've gone through the process of trying to have a lawyer disbarred who lied about a lawsuit settlement amount and tried to steal the balance. They got 1 year suspension.
Getting a lawyer disbarred is not easy even if the lawyer is stupid...

Stupid she is....for hiring a trice barred layer and two time convicted felon, Charles Edward Lincoln III as her assistant and not informing her clients about it....just to mention one of her poopies!
You cant get disbarred for filing stupid lawsuits..
pretty sure you can, if you file enough that are declared to be frivolous. taitz just got sanctioned with a fine for filing frivolous lawsuits. you can also be disbarred for incompetence or unethical behavior.
you're right that it takes a lot to get a lawyer disbarred though. if anything, orly taitz is living proof of that. it's about as obvious as it could be that she has no regard for ethics and very little understanding of the law or the judicial system, yet she's still practicing law and is only just facing the first concrete penalty for her behavior.
surprise surprise, she has no intention of paying the fine. she'll probably be psyched if she goes to jail over this. it'll suit her martyr role perfectly.
You need to be convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude in order to be disbarred.
That is not the case, you can be disbarred for a variety of things and it varies by State.
