I completely agree that he needs to grow a pair and put both parties on notice that he meant what he said about transparency and accountability within government and the good ol' boys club mentality will no longer apply. If he can manage that, I will back him 100%

Instead we have sore loser ( Republicans ) crying, complaining and not wanting to hunker down ( Bi-partisan commitments) to get the real issues solved.

To me it seems like they would rather use scare tactics and say the World is going to end rhetoric.
Republicans are angling for seats in the 2010 elections. As politicians from both parties do, they are saying and doing whatever is necessary to gain back those seats (and perhaps a few more).

Real issues will only be solved when there are checks and balances back in place. American's are not very fond of straight-ticket legislation, as evidenced by the recent backlash on current issues.

When Americans perceive a balance in Congress, people will go back to their apathetic ways and let the system work itself out.

In the grand scheme, blaming it on the Republicans is not being very honest.

The United States is run by tying both hands behind the backs of businesses with regulations, quotas, law suits and taxes.
So, should American solutions be to deport immigrants, abolish unions, restrict lawyers and civil rights groups, and not have minimum wages?

I understand 2010, believe me I do!

But the stuff I'm hearing about on TV and in papers are absoulutely amazing.

I'm neither Republican or Democrat so it's very easy for me to see the filth being layed out by the Republicans.

I hate the fact that they (Republicans) are playing poker, waiting to see the river card until 2010.

They only want to destroy Obama..plain and simple.
Obama is the President and cannot change things on his own but the Majority of Americans put him into office to start the change much needed in America. Now the right wing media is terrifying the America Public into going back on their dreams of change with constant fear tactica and lies. Americans, unfortunately, put a lot of faith in what their media tell them and in this case they are being sold down the river by self interest.
BOTH parties should take a break from their quest for absolute power and think of the American people both rich and poor.
Where is your outrage for the scare tactics that Obama is using against the American people in order to push his political agenda?

Where was your outrage when he blasted Bush for his war policies and he continues to do the SAME THING?

Where was your outrage when Obama blasted McCain for suggesting a tax on individual medical insurance plans, when Obama is proposing the SAME?

Where was your outrage when Obama said this was going to be the "most transparent administration in history" and yet we have czars with radical views, porkbarrel projects, and bed deals with lobbyists, who were supposed to be kicked out of Washington because we were done with the "business as usual"?

Where was your outrage when this President ramped up panic, crisis, and upcoming disaster unless we passed the stimulus, the omnibus, and we're now at 9.7% unemployment, when we weren't supposed to go passed 8.5% because of his stimulus? Where are all these jobs, jobs, jobs Biden spoke of? WHere are the 600K jobs Obama promised? Why aren't you upset about that?

Where was your outrage when this adminstration promised change and to get rid of politics as usual, yet they're doing drug deals with big pharma, hospitals, the AMA, the unions, etc, not to help you or the middle class, but to *********?

Where was your outrage when Obama then said that unless we pass healthcare, this economy won't recover? Should we expect his predictions and policies to go over as well as the stimulus? If they "misread" the economy, what makes you think they'll get this right? You can only blame Bush for so long. If you blame Bush for what Obama inherited, why aren't you blaming Clinton for sowing the international seeds that laid the foundation for 9/11?

Where was your outrage when your President tells you you need to sacrifice, that he won't raise your taxes AND offer you better and lower cost healthcare for less, but he can't explain how this will get done, where we'll get the doctors and nurses to handle this burden from an industry that is already understaffed?

Where was your outrage when your Congress decides that your voice isn't important when they try to pass legislation to which they're not subjected yet you are, but your tax dollars are much more important than your voice in funding their lifestyles?

Where was your outrage when you heard Van Jones spouting off the same tripe as the Reverand Wright, where Valarie Jarret was bragging about being able to recruit Van Jones, and yet everyone pretends they didn't know anything about his questionable past?

Where was your outrage when your President threw his grandmother, Daschle, and everyone else who is a drag on him, under the bus?

Why are you upset about the likes of tv personalities such as Hannity etc, when you should be outraged that your Govt is using you, playing on your sympathies and emotions, and you're not even using your faculty of critical thinking to figure this stuff out for yourself?

If you do some digging, you'll see, that DC is pretty dirty, and that the Commander in Deception is leading the pack, letting his thugs stronghold anyone who opposes, and letting Pelosi and Reid run ramshod, because Obama doesn't know how to lead, how to command, and doesn't want his blood on anything. This guy rides the middle. Says one thing one minute and another the next.

Where is your outrage about a President who is supposed to be post racial, yet he holds a joint press conference that ends up in a "beer summit"? Why are you not upset that people who have honest dissent are puling the race card? Why aren't you upset that the press has no respect for your intelligence and belives you'd buy into that in the first place?

You're wasting your energy worrying about the likes of Hannity. This country has much bigger fish to fry. Pay attention!

The way to compete with the Chinese is to put countervailing tariffs into place and level the playing field. Then manufacturing will return to the skilled American workforce which will be making enough to buy the stuff they make. The Chinese and most international financiers will be annoyed but it is past time they were taught a lesson.
