Couple slips though security to crash state dinner - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091126/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_state_dinner_uninvited_guests - broken link)
I should hope they were invited... I'd hate to think that White House security is so lax.

At first report it was claimed there was just a mistake on the guest list, but apparently now the media and secret service are saying that this couple lied.
So crashing the White House is much easier than I would've ever imagined!

That just makes me feel so much better about security for the United States.

They crashed it which is hilarious, but also a very sad sign of how horrible security is at the White House!

My first thought was that they were eating Indonesian food.

This was a breach of security and not the fault of the sitting president. I just don't like such extravagantly expensive dinners being held by the White House (no matter who is president) especially when the nation is in fianancial problems. Such actions scream "Let them eat cake".
