Thank you, Jill, for providing a thread for those who admired and respected Ted Kennedy for his years of work for the least powerful among us, even though so many people chose to attack him every day of his imperfect and admirable life.
Well I guess the book isn't selling to good...so something need to be done so the family won't starve.
is Obama going to mention having be the mailman for the letter to the Pope, for remorse....and how sorry kennedy was for letting the woman die and never looking back till 9 hours later.....
Just remember, if we had UHC at the time she would have survived. Kennedy legacy.

Oh, THANKS. You reminded me that I really want to buy that book!
I just had a lovely conversation with Patrick Kennedy, and he said that President Obama is going to have some very nice things to say about his father in tonight's speech, so be sure to tune in.

Heart wrenching. A 77 year old multi millionaire, sleaze ball , Washington insider dies of natural causes. Wow , I am overcome with emotion. :c rying:

I expected it, but the alternative was not giving people who might want to know, the heads up about the inclusion of Kennedy in tonight's speech. I refuse to let the hate-mongers have any influence on my posting decisions here.
He was one of my favorite drunken lowlifes....really he was
If Ted Kennedy was a "lowlife".....I don't even want to think about what some of the people who continue to use a dead woman for political purposes would be.
Btw, this thread is about Obama mentioning Kennedy in his speech tonight. Did you get confused?
I don't even want to think about what some of the people who continue to use a dead woman for political purposes would be.
Don't worry, you will clearly see it during tonight's speech. "Do it for Ted....We need to fulfill Ted's dream!"
