Call me crazy but wouldn't one expect Obama to tout Kennedy during a speech that's focal point will be discussing healthcare reform?

Thank you, Jill, for providing a thread for those who admired and respected Ted Kennedy for his years of work for the least powerful among us, even though so many people chose to attack him every day of his imperfect and admirable life.

Just remember, if we had UHC at the time she would have survived. Kennedy legacy.

Heart wrenching. A 77 year old multi millionaire, sleaze ball , Washington insider dies of natural causes. Wow , I am overcome with emotion. :c rying:

I expected it, but the alternative was not giving people who might want to know, the heads up about the inclusion of Kennedy in tonight's speech. I refuse to let the hate-mongers have any influence on my posting decisions here.

It will be the common, bleeding-heart, liberal cry: "Do it for Teddy!" Ba ha ha. As if we're so stupid.

If Ted Kennedy was a "lowlife".....I don't even want to think about what some of the people who continue to use a dead woman for political purposes would be.

Btw, this thread is about Obama mentioning Kennedy in his speech tonight. Did you get confused?

Don't worry, you will clearly see it during tonight's speech. "Do it for Ted....We need to fulfill Ted's dream!"
