Are you following along? When Obama said that this program will not cover illegal aliens, ITS A FLAT OUT LIE... Hospitals will increase the bills of those with care to cover the illegal aliens, its the way its been for ages, and if nothing is done to curb the expenses they incur, your not fixing anything...
PG...How is this ANY different from what has been happening in this country for the last 20 years with illegal aliens going to the ER or even health clinics, running up a bill and not paying..
The LAW dictates that they are indeed taken care of.. So while the hospitals will not have an "insurance" company to bill, they will of course be STILL increasing the tab of everyone else to pay for their care...
The "law" is that a hospital cannot deny emergency care and that hospitals are only required to give such care until the patient is stabilized.
That's not coverage. That's care. Yes, it will still impact health costs for all. But tax dollars going to a government public option will not go to illegal aliens. They will not be able to join such a plan. The health insurance options that come out of health care reform will not cover illegal aliens. Plain and simple.
Obama didn't claim that illegal aliens no longer will be treated by the healthcare system the way they are now. He said the reform proposals will not cover illegal aliens. And they won't. It's not a lie.
Great, your half way there to understanding, I'll key slower..
When illegals get CARE, who will PAY FOR IT? So when they cant get on the public healthcare plan, EVERYONE ELSE pays the bill, and that includes the government if indeed the government is "an insurance company"...
The fact that they CANT join, even by choice, means that those that do join are the ones going to pay...
