Single Payer or Nothing. If you keep the Insurance Companies and Lawyers in the mix you won't save a dime. I'm figuring my Car Insurance will go down by 70% without medical liability, and my Home Owners another 30%.

OK if everyone has Single Payer why would you have to Insure for yours or the other guys medical on your auto or Home owners? Why would your employer bhave to buy Workmans Comp or Medical?
Or didn't anyone think about that. It's the reason the Insurance Companies will go to the wall on this

If that were the case ones current health insurance would already do that !

You are trying to combine multiple markets into one. Each individual market has a premium associated with it that needs paid to cover the claims associated with that market along with costs. You can't just cram all the claims together from multiple insurance markets and think just 1 premium from one of the markets is going to take care of the claims from ALL of them . The premium to cover everything would end up being what your premium is for each of them added together ! Get it yet ?!

You now have a good idea of what the single payer system will eventually turn into after the Gov runs all the insurance companies out of business. Then they can make the premium WHAT EVER THEY WANT to cover mounting costs which our Gov is famous for if you haven't noticed.

A single payer HC bill amounts to nothing more than the biggest tax increase bill in world history and where the people willingly relinquish their freedom at the same time ! A win, win for the Gov... and many of the sheeple are crying for it ! Pretty sick...

Nope, IMO made it worse for dragging those who oppose it over the coals. He isn't explaining a thing then gets mad because people don't go along with his plans.

He's getting mad because people are buying into the rhetoric without reading the details of the bills that have been proposed (death panels, illegal aliens, etc).

Yeah, okay. Can you be more specific? Which statements can you point to specifically that aren't mentioned in any of the bills? And please don't just say "all of them" because then we'll know you're talking out of your backside.

And how can you assume to know why he's getting mad? Do you know him personally? Have you been around him long enough to get a good gauge on his personality outside of the speeches you've seen him give? Have you had a conversation with him? Or are you just assuming you know why? Because it seems obvious to the rest of us that he could easily be getting upset for a number of other reasons - one of them being the nasty rhetoric that's being glamorized.

I love seeing all these wild accusations. It just makes me laugh. Every president will be called a liar by the opposite party for some reason. Bush 2 was liar, Clinton was a liar, Bush 1 was a major liar (if you read his lips), Reagan lied under oath, etc, etc, etc, etc. Can both sides just grow up a little bit?

The question, as we all know, arises from the Wilson "You lie" outburst, and the core claim that notwithstanding specific bill language barring illegal immigrants from participating in the "exchange," as a practical matter, there is no way of verifying the citizenship of applicants -- which is the current state of play. Republicans say that then means illegal immigrants would end up being enrolled in plans -- bill language or no bill language.
Today, for the first time as far as we know, the administration is backing a provision that would require proof of citizenship before someone could enroll in a plan selected on the exchange.

WH on health care, illegal immigrants - First Read - msnbc.com

The bold part tells one that if the administration is now backing a provision to a bill, that someone lied and now it's CYA time with a provision... Why the need for the provision if everything was already as 0bama stated ?! Duhhh

Is that specific enough of a lie for you ?

This is why nothing is going to happen with health care because everyone has a different opinion about it..can't get anybody to agree..even the American people...it will be DOA...
