Wouldn't allowing marriage equality for tax paying gay and lesbian individuals be upholding the Constitution?

In any case, I'll support the libertarian party. Good luck getting mainstream individuals to support the Constitution Party.

Huh? A person's individual rights is a very integral part of The Constitution.

Although Thomas Jefferson did not participate in the work on the Constitution, he understood why a republic was superior to a democracy. He also knew what the basic purpose of a republic was: “The true foundation of republican government is the equal right of every citizen, in his person and property, and in their management.”

A republic meant a government that allowed the people of the United States to work freely, associate freely, and otherwise plan their own lives in the way they pleased equal rights shared by all citizens.

it's chump change in the big picture. There is more at stake if the constitution isn't upheld than gay marriage. Gay marriage can only exist if the constitution exists. Crawl before you can walk.

Unimportant because it does not personally affect you and yours? And what threat to The Constitution do you deem to be the crucial one at the moment?

To PurpleLove8,
The Constitution Party is in support of marriage between a man and women period. Majority of Americans feel that way too. Homosexual couples already have "rights" as pertaining to 'same sex couples' partners. Behind the closed bedroom doors, I could care less what homsexual couples do but, when 'militant homosexuals' try to force their life style down society's throat, by trying to shout down or intimidate local Christian churches etc., or try to indoctinate our children in schools to be "politically correct" on the subject, then the homosexual community has a real fight on their hands. Personally, my opinion and my faith is such that I believe homosexuality is wrong and against the teachings of Christ. I do not favor going after homosexuals with a pitch fork or degrading them. The CP does not believe in getting involved in some kind of agenda against them however, we believe THAT life style is against good family values. We are not religious zealets, just ordinary concerned Americans who favor the principles that our founding fathers gave us. Some of our CP registered voters do not have any faith. THAT is their business. However, they feel both republicans & democrats have failed the republic. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable in staying with the democrat party? -AmericaFirstVet

This is hardly news, any good student of history knows the US has been in desperate need of a second party(at a minimum) for over a hundred years.

CONSTITUTION PARTY, the fastest growing political party in America and the third largest political party in America that puts AMERICA FIRST.
Support your local TEA PARTIES. If our 'founding fathers were alive today...they would be 'shoulder to shoulder' with "us".

The Constitution party is the only way to save this country POLITICALLY.
The CP welcomes all races, creeds and religions. READ THE CP PLATFORM ON THE "REAL ISSUES". Go to: www.constitutionparty.com

ARE YOU A VETERAN?? The CP has a VETERAN ARM .....

NATIONAL VETERANS COALITION......www.nvets.org..."veterans, families & friends putting 'AMERICA FIRST' at the ballot box. The NVC was founded by CHARLES JONES III, Brig. Gen. USAF, retired.
Congressman Dr. RON PAUL (one of the very few patriots left in the republican party, and is NOT a 'CFR' member..) endorsed the CP candidate for President 2008, CHUCK BALDWIN. The CP are running candidates in about 45 states nationwide, for local, county , state and national offices.

Lol, how did that work out?

Here it is 2013 and the same criminals on Wall Street continue their plundering and pillaging at the nations expense, and still infesting the halls of DC.
