Wilson: Leadership asked me to apologize - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

" The Republican leadership instructed Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) to call the White House and apologize for his outburst during President Obama's speech, the South Carolina Republican acknowledged today.....(more)"

And that's all I have to say about that whole disgraceful distraction.

See ya later Joe.

Goodbye.
Good riddance.

Wilson added that this outburst was "spontaneous" and not pre-meditated.
Perhaps he missed the pre-copy of the speech?

YouTube - Democrats Boo Bush During 2005 SOTU
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...you call THAT a 'boo'?
That was nothing but a murmur.

PAAAAAA-thetic...no matter how embarrassing the GOP buffoons act some boot licker will sift through the footnotes of history to find any remotely related event that MAY POSSIBLY be misconstrued to show the Dems acted 1/4 as stupid as their idols do on a daily basis...

Try again kiddo.

how much media attention did the republicans' booing of clinton garner?

it's surprising that dems booing bush got any media coverage at all. the opposition booing when the president addresses congress, right or wrong, is not an uncommon occurrence. heckling is.

Except that those claiming that the reform covers undocumented workers are the liars. As are all the opponents who have been concocting any number of lies about "death panels" - many of them presented here at C-D by morons.

Do you even pay attention to the news? Every bit of coverage I've seen about Wilson's outburst has included the statement that Wilson was the one lying.

As are you.

Maybe he's trying to deny it was a premeditated attack orchestrated by some big money backer?
Like the 'Big Pharma' group that funded and organized the town hall hollerers.

Who cares if it's spontaneous Joe? Unless there's some *worse* scenario you're protecting yourself from.

He blundered, got emotional and spoke out. Both sides got on him. Wilson apologized. Now lets move on.
