Thanks for the link, cohdane! I happily gave to Bill Nelson, and will donate to Miller even more happily! I read an article about Miller this morning (gasp! I read newspapers and books and magazines!) and he seems like an all-round
good guy.

whether his comment was right or wrong it broke written protocal and as such he should be punished~ by stripping him of his commitee asignments.

He was free to make those remarks AFTER leaving the chambers but not during the speech.

Is the term "Thus would it appear" a statement of fact or a statement of opinion?

That makes all those illegals citizens and then they get all the goodies. That may be the part that caused Nasty Nancy's jaw to drop so far when Wilson called a spade a spade. Maybe he stuck his foot in his mouth and let out a bit more than he wanted to do. He doesn't consider his next wave of voters to be illegals any longer.

This is the United States of America. Wilson was free to make those remarks anywhere at any time.

Yikes the left simply doesn't get it. Fortunately the people do. The public option is going down in flames and probably the misbegotten mess with it. Start again and remember we are a capitalist society. Market reforms work best!

Freedom to make an @ss of yourself. If my sons did something like that, I would discipline them. Would you like your children to call you a liar, pommysmommy? Or do you teach them respect?

I guess you have forgotten the behavior of that group of Demoncraps at the 2005 SOTU speech. They booed as a group and laughed as a group and very little was said in the MSM about their behavior. That was so much like the British Parliament. Much more than what Wilson did.

Yes, I know about the left leaners' double standard but Fox will continue to call attention to what they did to Bush that time and other times. One person doing something like that can't possibly be worse than that whole group pulling their Left Leaners' activity that night.

There is no line "thus it would appear" in the quote I posted. Look I trust the CRSs analysis of the bill a wee bit more than yours.
