I dont see a suggestion in that site for howto clean it up, other than sending a lot of people to jail. I dont see a projection of a new ACORN. But - maybe that's all that's necessary.
Start at the top with the Rathke brothers and work down several layers and the group could become honest again. However, you would have to clean up their enforcement arm, Muscle for Money at the same time.

if you are too incompetent to register and vote, you should not be voting. What are the chances of someone who is that dumb actually knowing a position any candidate holds or stands for? answer: zero
Every person that can legally vote has the right to vote, but there is nothing in the Constitution that says they are entitled to assistance. Welcome to nature. the strong not only survive, they thrive and the weak perish. deal with it.
the only people who believe an acorn type entity needs to exist are those that have such weak policies and positions that they need to prey on the bottom of the barrel in order to win.

How do they rise above the recent behavior of the recently fired workers from Baltimore and DC? Surely trying to help a professed prostitute and her professed pimp, set up a bawdy house with underage girls points out to much worse crimes than voting fraud or, as libs here like to hear it, registering fraud. These last two days have done too much to show them for what too many of them are.

New name, new leaders, and new workers in their offices are all that is needed. I don't think that can happen, though.

Yes. They are all around you. Be afraid. Be very afraid. This is what your handlers want from you.

Can't any of you even feign seriousness? Nobody supports or condones the comments of those two people. Nobody condones employee theft either. But these two people say nothing more about ACORN than employee-thieves at Macy's do about that organization.

And why, by the way, aren't you demanding that your sources release the video of all those other attempts at a set-up wherein the ACORN workers tell the principals to get lost? Don't want to see that? Too upsetting? Wouldn't fit in well enough with your comfortable preconceptions?

What do you mean,"social experiment"? The rest of your post is what Im talking about -- you dont know and never have had any interest in knowing the honest good ACORN has done over the last forty years or the honest good it continues to do. The best way for you to learn about it is for you to read or watch news about successful projects and honest turnaround strides and to see commercials on TV.

It's you who needs to look at the record. The actual record. Not the one manufactured and handed to you like a package of Twinkies by the right-wing disinformation media.

No, it's eerily well-researched and reasoned. Two things that so many right-wingers have no familiarity with at all.

so show us some facts that support your comments there. What good have they done and do not list the amount of people they have registered to vote because they are being sued and arrested all over the country for that one. Show me some quality coming out of the investment of my tax dollars. Otherwise you are just looking like another Twinkie eater.

The overwhelming majority of what ACORN does day in and day out is honest, legal and above reproach. You dont know about it because it doesnt make the news. Care to list some of these organizations that do the same work as ACORN, have the same racial makeup as ACORN, and are as large and as effective as ACORN?

Dude, it was Wade Rathke (along with Gary Delgado) who founded ACORN. The eight, which were really two but now claim to be 25, are latecomers to the party.
