And which Marx text is that quote from exactly?
Groucho, in "Bananas".

Oh. Wait.

That was Woody Allen.

FWIW, from Socialism vs Communism:

Socialism is liberal. More people (preferably everyone) have some say in how the economy works. Democracy is liberal. More people (preferably everyone) have some say in how the government works. "Democracy," said Marx, "is the road to socialism." He was wrong about how economics and politics interact, but he did see their similar underpinnings.

Communism is conservative. Fewer and fewer people (preferably just the Party Secretary) have any say in how the economy works. Republicans are conservative. Fewer and fewer people (preferably just people controlling the Party figurehead) have any say in how the government works. The conservatives in the US are in the same position as the communists in the 30s, and for the same reason: Their revolutions failed spectacularly but they refuse to admit what went wrong.

Yes, and once those people got to the Capitol, they all fit there. They weren't on the Mall, they didn't spill over significantly to other parts, and they no longer were on the streets.
They were on the mall. See the Cspan video of the event. They were backed up into the streets around the capitol. It shows that clearly on the vid.

100,000-200,000 by FOX estimates. Not a million but a good turn out. Then others around the country. Not bad.

You post pictures of a distant crowd taken, when?
Oh my. Tell me you are not so desperate to claim that pic wasn't from today? I watched that cam real time, as the street filled up with a massive rally.

OMG - this is too pathetic and hilarious.

Here you go; the cam and the end.

Ok, so you're saying there were ten people there? Bwahahaha!

Now they can't even believe their own lying eyes - hilarious!

i like how you guys don't even read each others' posts to try and keep it consistent.

i also like how you posted an easily disprovable lie!

fox says 10s of thousands.

cnn says 10s of thousands.

mslsd! says 10s of thousands in their written report but the reporter in their video says their estimate hundreds of thousands. weird!

that crazy librul media is the only one coming close to your claims!

anyway i'm going out now. ciao!

Tea Party Express Takes Washington By Storm - Political News - FOXNews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/12/tea-party-express-arrives-march-washington-protest-government-spending/ - broken link)

The tens of thousands of protesters marched to the U.S. Capitol chanting various slogans and waving posters that voiced a rather broad array of grievances against big government and the leaders, particularly President Obama, who the protesters blame for its size and scope
