LOS ANGELES — Is Tina Fey an Emmy winner? You betcha. Fey received an Emmy Award on Saturday for her impersonation of Republican vice presidential contender Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live."

Sadly, however, as Chevy Chase has stated in public interviews, the left leaning entertainers try to use comedy to shape public opinion. Chase states that his parody of Gerald Ford had little to do with comedy and was more of an effort to help Carter win the election.
It is not suprising that a group of liberals would support and issue an award to another liberal as congratulations for completing a liberal campaign agenda. It is a pat on the back from the Hollywood left for a soldier doing Obama's work. What would you expect?
Would you ever, no matter how funny, ever see an award given to an actor who parodies Obama? Not in a million years. I must say, that I enjoy the good comedic parodies of politicians (Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush). However, the liberal guidelines and playbook make it strictly forbidden to parody a liberal and only conservatives must be targeted. Too bad, as Obama is nearly a parody in himself and would make great comedy just be repeating his own words with different expressions on the face of the speaker.

What a load of crap!
Fey didn't "parody" Palin - didn't have to, she looks just like her. What Fey did do was speak Palin's words, sometimes verbatim.
So, Fey gets the emmy for acting, Palin for providing the script.
