First of all I believe you have misinterpreted my post.

Second of all Barack Obama won the election because he promised Hope and Change. Something he should not have promised because he cannot deliver on it. While it is his fault for Promising that it is not his fault the office of the President is essentially a puppett position.

They are just the partisan hacks who hijacked a legitmate movement started long before Barack Obama began his political career.
You fail as a mind reader.

Personally speaking, I have been very respectful towards rational thinking conservatives on C-D, and in real life.

My favorite sign of the whole thing would never have made it on this thread. It was an about 11 year old girl from Texas who had a sign that asked if she looked like a mobster. I have seen the MSM manage to say things like that being the kind of people who attended those things.

You ask how independents can vote for Republicans if there are protestors such as in your pictures. What you are saying is those Fringe protestors represent all conservatives so how are independnts supposed to relate to them? The answer is they are not supposed to relate to them they are an uninformed, fringe lunatic group. The left has the same thing on their fringes. If independents do not understand their are fringe lunatics in all ideologies then they should not vote.

I can understand somebody protesting the war. Even some on the right have done that. And many have provided logical reasons as to why they don't support it.

I can understand people protesting eating meat or wearing fur. Many of these people also provide logical reasons why they don't. I'm sort of a vegetarian, although not a strict one.

On the other hand, protesting government spending and taxation by doing nothing more than crying communism, socialism, Marxism, fascism, etc is just retarded. Anybody who had a good understanding of those ideologies would know Obama fits into none of them. There is no basis for any of those claims. They are based on words they can use to scare people. Liberal didn't work. Radical didn't work, so now they've resorted to more extreme tactics (or words). Instilling fear might work on some people, but never a person of sound logic.

Once again, these protests just display stupidity and lend credence to the notion that these people shouldn't be taken seriously.

Some believe that these people should represent the "norm" of American society.

One where you say the President of the United States is sucking another man's d!ck, and believe that it's justified because you don't like him!

To call this lunatics "patriots" could not be further from the truth!!
