You ask how independents can vote for Republicans if there are protestors such as in your pictures. What you are saying is those Fringe protestors represent all conservatives so how are independnts supposed to relate to them? The answer is they are not supposed to relate to them they are an uninformed, fringe lunatic group. The left has the same thing on their fringes. If independents do not understand their are fringe lunatics in all ideologies then they should not vote.
Unfortunately cleanhouse, the people that make up these protests are the majority of the Republican and Libertarian parties. We even saw various Republican congressmen at these protests.
In May, 66 percent of independents approved of Obama's job performance, according to the Gallup Poll.
By August, Gallup showed the president was supported by 49 percent of independents, a collapse during the health care debate that reflects independents' dislike of deficit spending, the growth of big government and one-party control of Washington.
Overall, 52% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. That represents a two-point gain following the speech and is the highest rating for the President since July 17. Forty-eight percent (48%) now disapprove. Eighty-four percent (84%) of Democrats approve while 78% of Republican disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 43% offer a positive assessment and 56% give a negative review.

Maybe those congressmen hadn't heard your rule about, if you are a Congressman you aren't allowed to express your Constitutional rights outside the halls of Congress.

"I understand the GOP is optimistic that they will win some seats back in 2010, and have a chance in the 2012 general. But before you get cocky, think about Independents. How do you expect to reach rational thinking people with stuff like this?"
First of all I believe you have misinterpreted my post.
Second of all Barack Obama won the election because he promised Hope and Change. Something he should not have promised because he cannot deliver on it. While it is his fault for Promising that it is not his fault the office of the President is essentially a puppett position.
BO won the election because Americans felt McCain was too old and they felt guilty about never having a black president.

Talk about stupid!!!!!
Huh? When did I say that?
