I am far from affraid of the Tea party people. There are a few in the neighborhood and while I don't want my child around them, I am not affraid of them. I kind of feel sorry for them.

I could see it, if it were some drunken orgy or something, but the ones around here are just hard working people fed out with being crapped on.
Oh you bet they are afraid! they have never seen the majority of Amreica wake from their deep sleep before. The very fact they spend so much time and energy insulting them, dismissing them, lying about them and their numbers. If they were nothing, if they were no threat to their positions, they would be an after thought.
