Im sorry, but just because you dont believe in racism, does not make it so. Facts are facts. It is human nature to dislike people who dont share your values.
Why are you conflating race with values?

Yeah! When are things going to even out by a black man being falsely accused of a crime?
And the Duke case also got so much attention because of the university affiliation, class, and the actions of the prosecutor. But, of course, you want to make it all about race.

No sarcasm, just wondering. I think you lost the audience on this one.
Guess you have to be a monty python fan. (Thanks for the rep, my fellow fans!) Reference to the line "I'm being repressed" is often used sarcastically. For instance, one could reference that line in response to a white person in the U.S. inferring from a specific incident that the system as a whole is repressing her based on her race.

Believe in racism? How could I not when it poisons this entire thread. Maybe you meant believe as in "support" racism. In that case, you would be correct. I've got a little girl who is part Korean. She's a sweetheart. I do what I can to protect her from small minded people who think that she was somehow genetically endowed with certain values based on her physical appearance.
As far as this school bus fight goes, there is absolutely no reason it should be in the news. A few black kids beat up a white kid and the other kids on the bus cheered them on. Seriously, does that sound like breaking news? It sounds like a matter for the local school board. They deal with instances like this all the time. To attempt to turn this into a huge story says more about FOX news than anything else.

Amadou Diallo - 1999
Diallo had reportedly come to New York City to study but had not enrolled in any school. He sought to remain in the US on a long-term basis by filing an application for political asylum. [1] He sold videotapes, gloves and socks from the sidewalk along 14th Street during the day and studied in the evenings.
In the early morning of February 4, 1999, Diallo was standing near his building after returning from a meal. Police officers Edward McMellon, Sean Carroll, Kenneth Boss and Richard Murphy passed by in a Ford Taurus when they thought Diallo matched the description of a (since-captured) serial rapist and approached him. The officers were in plain clothes. The officers claimed that they loudly identified themselves as NYPD officers and that Diallo ran up the outside steps toward his apartment house doorway at their approach, ignoring their orders to stop and "show his hands". As the suspect reached into his jacket, Carroll believed Diallo was drawing a firearm and yelled "Gun!" to alert his colleagues. The officers opened fire on Diallo and during the burst McMellon fell down the steps, appearing to be shot. The four officers fired forty-one shots, hitting Diallo nineteen times. Investigation found no weapons on Diallo's body; the item he had pulled out of his jacket was not a gun, but a wallet.

Sean Bell - 200
The New York Post reported that, according to an unnamed undercover officer, Guzman had an argument inside the club with a woman and threatened to get a gun. One of Bell's friends was heard to say "yo, get my gun" as they left the scene.[12] Fearing a shooting might occur, African American plain-clothed officer Gescard Isnora followed the men to their car while alerting his backup team, prompting the team to confront Bell and his companions before they could leave the scene.[12] Isnora "held out his badge (by his account), identified himself as a police officer, and told the car to stop."[13]. Instead, Bell accelerated the car and hit Isnora, then hit an unmarked police minivan.[2]. By all accounts, Gescard Isnora thought he saw Guzman reach for a gun while in the car, yelled "gun" to other police at the scene, and opened fire on the car. The other officers and detectives joined him in shooting at the car, firing 50 bullets in a few seconds.

Michael Mineo - 2008
On October 15, 2008, Michael Mineo was allegedly smoking a marijuana joint outside the Prospect Park train station located in the Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.[4][2] When approached by police officers, Mineo ran into the train station, jumped the turnstile, but was caught and handcuffed near the token booth.[2] According to the officers, they found no drugs on him, issued him a summons for disorderly conduct, and let him go.[7] According to Mineo, after he was handcuffed and pinned down, Richard Kern pulled down his pants and shoved a police radio antenna into his anus. Mineo later changed his version to a police baton.[8][dead link] On October 23, Mineo's attorneys announced the incident and noted that they planned to file a lawsuit against New York City on Mineo's behalf.[9]
1 acted like he was pulling a gun, 1 tried to run cops over and 1 lied. He couldnt even get his story straight so what's your point?
The amount of racism on this thread is just disgusting. We are talking about a fight on the school bus for God's sake. It's not even clear what the motivation for the fight was. Even if it was racially motivated, why on Earth is this shocking to anyone? MANY of our high schools are full of racial tension that erupts into violence every day. Black kids jump white kids and white kids jump black kids. Why is this school bus fight a news story at all?Because FOX news has an agenda, that's why.
Is it any wonder kids are behaving this way when their parents are filling them with prejudice and making comments like I've read here?
The amount of racism on that bus is more disgusting.
It's not shocking to anyone, most of us are just tired of having black-on-white crimes downplayed.
So you're saying those poor kids couldn't help themselves because mom and dad back home (both City data posters of course) tell them white people are evil?

Sorry to disappoint you:
"A student on a Belleville West High School bus was beaten for his choice of seat, not because he was white, according to a witness and police.
'The incident appears now to be more about a couple of bullies on a bus dictating where people sit,' said Belleville Police Capt. Don Sax, who originally said Monday's attack may have been racially motivated."
Dispute over seat sparked attack on school bus, student says - STLtoday.com (http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/illinoisnews/story/60D37B6EC5FF4711862576320011605B?OpenDocument - broken link)
