Greeting's,

Our consideration of this most controversial National Issue must logically return to
a singular and dynamic premise..... or in the so called "Language of the Day".......
"The Bottom Line"...... Yes the "Botton Line" remains the fact that Americans have
the "Right"..... "Yes" the "Right"..... "To Choose To Smoke Or Not To Smoke'.....

That's the very reason why America has "Laws" in place for determining the legal
ages that a person may of course..... "Legally" purhase, possess and use any tobacco
product..... These are good "Laws" and have served America most adequately for many
years.....

It is truly up to the individual upon reaching the age of (18) or whatever the legal age
is within a state....... to decide whether they will smoke or not..... a person doesn't
have to use tobacco when they reach a specific "Legal" age.... It is not a "Magic Number"
that demands a person to begin use and abuse of any tobacco product.....

The "Bottom Line"..... is of course..... It's an "Individual Choice" or "Freedom" to use if
so desired.....or not to use.....

All of us are aware of the dangers of Tobacco use and abuse and the many ways the
drugs and chemicals found in Tobacco products can truly effect the way a persons
mind and body work in very bad ways : Addiction, Heart Disease, and Cancer just to
name a few......

But we must also be very , very careful about naively giving any level of government.....
whether it be Federal, State or Local..... the absolute power to regulate matters
involving "Personal Choice"......... This is extremely dangerous considering todays most
"Chilling" and "Omnious" Political Climate.....

May this matter always remain a "Personal Choice" for Americans and never become
just one more "Take Away Our Rights "Trophy" for so many of those whom are
involved in the Washington D.C. "Political Circus"..... Thanks / L. F.

Florida allows smoking in bars and casinos, but not restaurants.

No one wants to take away anyone's choice to smoke.

It's like swinging a baseball bat.

It is your right to swing it all you want until it hits the nose of someone who doesn't like it. Then the law steps in, and rightfully.

ya, they do. there are several places in the usa where you cant smoke. not in your own home, car, backyard...ect. this is why we are screaming so much here. once you allow the government to regulate something, the chances of them taking it too far are very high. so anytime you can let the people regulate something with the open market, the better off you are as a republic.

every smoker understands there are people who don’t want to smell the smoke. and most will go way way out of their way to try and not bother people.

it will not be long now before YOU folks will be screaming. just food, fast food, and sweet drinks regulations are coming, they are already in affect in some areas.

you have to protect the rights of every group, if you want your groups rights to be safe. stop helping these people take over

Oh ya, as a side note…the first smoking bans and anti-smoking moments? Uncle Adolph and the Nazis.
