These are the very people that the right wing shills are appealing to. Beck, Hannity, Limbore, etc. sit in their ivory towers looking down on these nitwits and observe them as would a football game. They incite these people and get paid mega bucks to do so. They count on the ignorance and stupdity of the right wing fringe to further their careers as corporate shills. These tea baggers are nothing more than pawns in a game where the prize for the shills and the Health Insurance Industrial Complex is maintaining its Fascsit monopoly on the industry. These people at the rally are ranting against what they were told is Socialism and yet they are proliferating Corporate Fascism. The pinnacle of stupidity!
I see that you can prove that socialized medicine is not one giant step toward complete socialism. Could you come up with something to prove your words?
I don't know about their sanity but they admitted that racism was their main reason for voting that way. I get called racist for not voting for him but those people admitted that it was race that was their main reason for supporting him. Many whites with white guilt also voted for him because of his race.
15-20 over there, sure. There's only so much that could be recorded. And then, we have quite a sample of tea-baggers and their supporters here as well.
Go back and count the number of times that one big necked woman was on that video. On second thought, don't bother because you may learn something.

Give up your social security and medicare (I'm assuming you're on both), before you speak self-righteousness. Act it!

BTW, why are you folks so bitter about ACORN? You've been, since before the elections.
I didn't give two hoots about them until I found out they were getting investigated in multiple states for voter fraud AND set to get millions, if not billions, of our hard earned tax dollars.
Look, if they want to parade around with signs, shouting slogans about social inequities, evil Republicans and war mongering capitalists, have at it.
But slopping big time at the taxpayer's money trough? Forget it.

Are you telling me, it is the only organization of its kind with its own set of issues?
Not at all. Are NBC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC going to start do any investigating with their high priced celebrity news talent or are they going to leave it to a couple of college kids and Fox News like they seem content to do.
Maybe if they get off of their well paid, pontificating asses and start looking into stuff like this they might actually serve the public when using public airwaves.

You know, I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would like to give up their social security if they cound get what they put into it, plus the earnings/growth they would have realized over time if they could have invested it, instead of having it squandered by the government. For some people, that monthly payment from SS is all they have in retirement and they're dependent on it.
As for Medicare, you do know, do you not, that anyone age 65 is automatically put on Medicare (no choice there) and without it they would nave no insurance at all? If you're 65, you can't *buy* health insurance that isn't tied into Medicare. Even if you're working and on an employer health plan, as soon as you hit that age you're switched over to a medicare plan.
So, in both instances, it's not that easy to do what you suggest. It is, after all, the government's goal to make everyone dependent, and these two programs certainly do that without giving people much choice.

That is if you've paid into Medicare. I believe that was the PP's point, though, that Medicare IS socialized medicine that most people are happy with.
