This book by Mark Levin has sold over 1 million copies and has been on the NYT topseller list ever since it came on Number 1 in March. 24 weeks on the best seller list and not one review of it by either the NYT or the WAPO. Does that make sense? It will make sense when you read the article and see the remainder of the title.

Just think, 1 million copies, on the best seller list of NYT all these weeks, it is number 7 this week and not one review. I guess he has been determined to be a racist since I think he may well be a Jew.

Why are you making such an asinine comment?

the more cogent question---why won't NYT or WashPost make any comment?

Did you read the article? The NYT has mentioned it in its ‘Inside the List" feature in the Sunday edition.

And do WaPo and NYT do reviews on all the books that have successful runs on the bestseller lists? The article doesn't state whether this is the case or not. Without knowing what is typically done, there isn't much to say about there not being a full review on this particular book.

Because I think by his face and his name that he is a Jew.

What was asinine? It seems to me that the book would at least deserve a review when it has been top 10 for over 27 weeks.

I wonder how many books the Heritage Foundation bought up?

Didn't I say that when you saw the remainder of the title the reason would become apparent. Well maybe I just said it would be obvious.

Tiny blurbs would never be used if Maureen Dowd (the dowdy one) wrote something like this one. Even the WaPO would write one. You know why they have never reviewed it as well as I do.

The old far left ploy is brought to bear by Duke. Am I a racist because I didn't vote for Obama? Sure, say you.

And that he is thus racist then?

That wasn't what I was commenting on as asinine. But as I already stated, the article doesn't state what the NYT and WaPO normally review and why. Do all books that have a successful run on the NYT bestseller list normally get a review? It would seem odd to me to review a book that has already sold over 1 million copies. But I don't know what the review procedures are. Without an answer to that question about what gets reviewed and why, there is no way to judge whether the lack of review by WaPo and the NYT is out of the ordinary.
