Give them the birth control pill! I don't see how this can interfere with religion...I can see that some have issues with abortion and I'm not a fan of it either, just in cases of rape or if you already used protection and still got pregnant and in case the fetus is showing many signs of being severe sick...
I'm against abortus just to use it as a birth control prevention and specially after a certain amount of weeks that is baby killing!
Better give them the pill or morning after pill, that can save a lot of issues!
Dr. Tiller performed late term abortions on a lot of girls as young as 11 who were rape victims... give THEM a pill???? Get real.

Great Idea lets have the school cafeteria mix in a little morning after powder into the mash taters than we can all move on......
But what about summer break? hummmm maybe the happy meals than?

Can't you read....I stated that I'm all in favor of abortions on rape victims! Please read my post again!
But again if it happens, a girl doesn't need an abortion a day later, indeed the morning after pill can make sure no abortion is necessary so do some research before promoting abortus to every rape victim!
Prevention is the key...that is why I'm in favor of the birth control pill and btw why did Dr. Tiller have to do so many late term abortions on all 11 year olds as you are stating....it seems something is wrong if many 11 yr old girls get raped and don't have a clue and do nothing until months later...where are the mothers and fathers of these girls...
Don't they know they can get pregnant after a rape and wait for months...

Your post shows exactly why so many people are against abortus...because the people in favor of all woman being the boss of their own body, make no sense with their b.s.
Come with good arguments and although I don't agree with many Rep. on their abortus views, I sure don't agree with liberal non sense about abortus and woman rights...what about the rights of the fathers in question?
What about taking responsibility and think before you have sex...it isn't just a pregnancy, it is also young girls who later regret having done it at such a young age and sexual related diseases....

Problem is that many religious people are against ANY form of BC, including The Pill. Hence why they advocate "abstinence-only" education. And based on Palin's daughter (I know, I'm bringing her up, but this discussion is actually relevant), even those who are rich and who come from "stable" homes will get pregnant even if they come from a family that pushes for abstinence.
Teenagers will always be stupid, but if you eliminate the stupidity in religion that says "no birth control", you'd see those rates drop off the table. The first time I had sex, I had a condom ready because I was told to be prepared...had I not had the condom nearby, I certainly wouldn't have passed up the opportunity if the girl I was with was willing to go without...

I agree, parents have to inform their kids and I don't believe in the religous...bla bla , because teenagers are teenagers. But neither do I believe in "it's my body and I decide"...just to promote abortions...prevention is the best way.

How many pregnant teens have a responsible father who is excited to be a parent?
And using the term Abortus is like using Dubya or Nobama...it takes away from the credibility of your argument and makes you seem irrational.
The problem is that the kids who come from women who want abortions will end up in horrible situations. Either they will be homeless, orphaned or abused in most of the cases. People don't get abortions just for the heck of it.
The whole point is that humans don't always think clearly before sex, and also, many people are forced or coerced into sex or the condom breaks, or some other kind of BC issue arises. Why do YOU get to tell someone else what they can do with their body. If they have that baby, are YOU going to pay for it? If you're all about them taking responsibility, isn't abortion the most responsible thing a druggie can do if she wakes up one morning with a baby in her belly? After all, are you going to pay for that kid to get vaccinations? Are you going to pay for that kid to go to Pre-School? How about elementary, middle and high school?
There are very few women who get an abortion without it being the toughest day of their life. They don't do it for fun or for a thrill, they do it out of desperation.
And if so many people were willing to adopt kids, how come so many are shuffled through the system every year?

#1 Granted it maybe some old fogie in a hair net that places the morning after powder in the taters. But I am not sure how the makes the tater eater the boss?
#2 If they took responsibility we would not be here talking. Therefore its up to the tax payer.
What is cheaper taxpayer funded abortion?
or
State paid foster care for 12 years? followed by a salary for being cannon fodder in some future war of choice.
Pay more? or pay less? No matter they play you Pay
#3 Fathers rights? Well, when you can find them, I suppose some would ask for a paper work abortion or ask for termination papers of such rights.
If the father is indigent himself your still gonna pay. not mention what would a national or world DNA data base cost just to track down some of them. I say this from watching a WW2 film about a young GI in front of a brothel in France. He stated his father was there in WW1. This led him to wonder if he was about to do business with his half sister?

You mean taking the pill weeks and months after your already pregnant is an option? not sure that will work. Plus last I checked Rat16 was not comfortable with condoms much less the pill
Try to google " Daryl Cagle condoms " He has a way of putting a spin on things you may or may not agree with. So do so with caution.
