Fact: The average small business owner makes a larger salary as a percentage of sales than any healthcare CEO. Look it up.

Here's the problem with this lie about insurance companies denying coverage.

The FBI has an office that is designed to investigate insurance fraud. All Obama has to do is tell them to do their job. Denying claims would be illegal and should be punished under existing laws. No reforms needed. But, they don't deny truthful claims and Obama knows it. Otherwise these DAs would be all over them. It would be a good career move for a DA.

Actually, the President is in charge of the FBI and it is HIS responsibility to enforce the law. So, if insurance companies are denying claims and letting people die it is the President's fault.

And why does the government keep giving these companies permission to operate if they deny claims? They have their licenses renewed every couple years. Why does the government keep renewing them if they are killing people? Because they don't deny coverage.

Here's the link.

And Obama is lying when he says insurance companies deny claims.

Federal Bureau of Investigation - Insurance Fraud, FBI Program Overview & Consumer Information (http://www.fbi.gov/publications/fraud/insurance_fraud.htm - broken link)

All Obama has to do is tell people that are "denied" coverage to call that office. I would think these evildoers would shape up right away.

Plus, we were told that it was Big Pharma driving up costs. Then it was doctors. Now it's insurance companies. Geesh. Could the Dems make up their mind about who to blame?

Democrats=liars.

Anyone in favor of capping salaries I hope is not a sports fan or watches any movies or TV shows. If you do you may be a hypocrate. Capping is socialist

What is a hypocrate?

I know what hypocrite is but not a hypocrate.

I'm not a sports fan and I do watch movies/ tv shows and even I think their (actors')pay is exorbitant in some cases.

Back in the 50's-60's when the economy was doing well....executives made 30-40% of what the average worker made.
Now they make 400-600% what the average worker makes....how's that economy doing?

And YES Insurance companies CAN and DO deny legitimate claims. They have True Death Panels. You can fight and argue and see the FBI and the CIA and NBC..but meanwhile you ( or your child)may DIE fighting for what is rightfully yours (which saves the insurance company big pay outs that go towards exec pay)

Some would argue we already have the laws in place, you just have to go to your state insurance regulator or whoever and tell them your insurance company is doing this.
All I can say is good luck.

A lot of times it takes a good lawyer and lots of patience but a lot of times people end up dying before the insurance company pays. I'm sure that plays into why insurance companies do it.
