None of what you mentioned constitutes racism. Calling someone a terrorist is not racism, calling someone unamerican is not racism. Racism has everything to do with race, unlike the things you mentioned.

Yes, it does. And I've already explained why. Context plays a significant role in the meaning of words.

The claim that somehow only the use of DIRECT racially offensive epithets constitutes "racism" is disingenuous at best, and dishonest in the main.

Could we please get back to the subject of new taxes?

I believe there is no way in blazes a government program as large as this can be passed without raising taxes. However, I am sure there are many who do just as there are many that think a credit card is free money.

ok, let's play your game so we can end it and get back to how your taxes are going to go way up....

So if that is indeed racism, then calling republicans and conservatives all sorts of erroneous names also constitutes racism. I gotcha, so basically you are a racist too then...correct?

ok, game over, back to how YOUR taxes are going to go way up. What do you think about that?

The name Hussein is not associated with race. Therefore, calling by his middle name is not racist. Unless you are implying his mom and dad were being racist when they named him???????????

A person's name is not a function of race and therefore it cannot be racist to refer to a person by their given name.

Okay then. Obama is a racist.

Republicans have been accused of racism for years for wanting to make illegals speak English, denying them driver's license, no Spanish speaking classes in school. etc...... every time a Republican hints at denying a government service to an illegal they are called racists.

Obama has said publicly that he will deny health care to illegals. He is a racist. Even though it wasn't direct.

2) Those people with working brains realize that health care costs money. Always has- always will. If you think about it for 2 minutes you must realize that you are paying for it NOW in the form of higher taxes and higher insurance and not getting much for your dollar.
3) Reform would hopefully address some of the waste and inequity in the current system. For example- if your taxes went up say $1200 per year, but you saved $200 per month in insurance premiums...wouldn't you sign up for that deal?
4) We don't know how it will shake out yet...let's put aside the panic until we actually see the sky fall.

You would have to be a racist to come up with theses explainations LOL! You use birther, I use hussein, both are to show disrespect. It appears the left wingers are the ones who fear that name hussein. They are constantly the ones who connect hussein with fear. If you do not want to see me refer to hussein obama as hussein or his name scares the h*ll out of you, I believe this forum has a blocking feature you could take advantage of.

hussein obama will drive the price of everything up when he passes more taxes. This will hurt the lower income people the most. I guess that whine that the liberals are the ones who look out for the poor and minorities is just another liberal lie.

Yes, on those making over $250,000. The top 2%. That is it, and that increase would be a total of $750 a year for someone who makes $275,000.
