President Obama said this week that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage.

Obama: Legalize illegals to get them health care - Washington Times

Joe Wilson was right...now Obama has to come out and make a statement about illegal aliens getting health care..."YOU LIE" caused to close the loop hole that Obama wished wasn't discovered.....

WRONG! He said it's time to resolve their status, hardly the same as saying legalize and cover them. He also said those in the country legally should have access to healthcare, not that they should be covered.

You still have "hope"? The "change" hasn't come so your still hoping his words meant something you hoped for!

I'm rapidly losing hope the NeoConfused will actually learn to listen, read, AND understand rather than jumping to confusion over what some blogger tells them they heard. You're correct, change hasn't come, NeoConfused reporting is still based on fear-mongering, distortion, and outright lies.

here is how the rest of the world sees it when our own mainstream reporting will not cover such an explosive issue:
Obama offers hope to America's 12m illegal immigrants | World news | guardian.co.uk

obama has no interest in deporting illegal immigrants and his "reform" includes assimilating them into citizenship. he either has no clue about our true unemployment situation or is being fed bad advice from the same advisors who fed bush information. both men are clueless when it comes to working americans. we cannot afford the costs of assimilating huge blocks of non citizens, and especially providing health care insurance for them as well!

both parties sold us down the river for corporate big business interests and now there simply aren't enough jobs left to support the working structure of america. this is part of an escalating spiral downward. if people can't work, they can't pay taxes, and if they can't pay taxes the government does not get the revenue that it wants for its social programs (and the need for social programs would escalate substantially as well). illegal immigrants comprise a higher percentage of uneducated and, in fact, often non-english speaking workers, requiring even more cost in education and social services. somebody needs to start thinking ahead for a change! we need a solid employment situation because we can't have a BS "jobless recovery".

those names you call everyone are so cute. Like something a 5 year old would say..
absolutely no credit for anyone at that childish level and that's not even taking into account your denial of the writing that is on all four walls surrounding you.

GEE, do you get equally whiney with those spouting 'looney left' or 'Kool-Aid' BS?

Writing on the walls? Not in my house, sounds like a childish thing to me. It's the NeoConfused who appear to see so many things that aren't there.

You can go back to scribbling on the wall now.

While I see and interact with illegal aliens weekly (beautiful people who work hard and are very family-oriented), I understand that they shouldn't be here without papers, and for damn sure don't deserve free health care just because they made the crossing.

Obama is a liar on this point and doesn't appreciate being called out. (I will add to the melting-down lefties; Obama has a nice smile when giving a speech).

you can be sure if they get free health care insurance (remember it is not free health care) there will be a lot more crossing our unsecured borders. people need to remember that part of what makes this country great is that people want to come in, not try to leave. we have an imbalanced workforce already and throwing more people to compete in a smaller labor pool never ends well!

it means higher unemployment, which has been rising unabated since obama took office so somebody is going to have to address that issue even though they don't want to! higher unemployment leads to higher crime, more social service costs, and less taxes collected, another bad situation for a government trying to get its act together. our country is not going to have a "jobless recovery" even if the globalists want you to believe it! it is impossible for a consumer based economy to have a jobless recovery.

Fine with me as long as they go through the same gruelling process my wife had to go through to become a legal resident, and that would begin from outside the US at a US consulate immigration office.
