I think both Obama and Bush are great family men. And I think both have a sense of humor about themselves.

Also, I separate the job as President from the man. I may not like what they are doing/did on the job, but I like both Obama and Bush as people and wish them the best.
Repped ya!

I'm a Republican and voted for McCain. I wanted to like Obama and was hoping he would surprise me but he hasn't yet. The failures I see belong mostly to the people he's surrounded by (Pelosi, Reid, Frank). That being said, I think he had to overcome a lot more than Clinton and Bush to get where he is today and I respect that. I also am impressed with his handling of Afghanistan and Iraw. I also think he's basically a "good guy". I think that Bush and Obama genuinenly liked each other. Heck, I'd love to have a beer with him. I also think his wife is quite attractive and his kids beautiful as well.

He can also ball.

Be honest, and post something good about Obama.

Don't give insincere flattery, and no need to be insolent. Go to another thread to do that. This will be a feel-good thread.

Do it for your fellow Americans, whether you agree with their ideology or not. (Remember, it is your integrity at stake here.)

Here goes one: Obama has his family values down right inside his own home. Heart-warming to see his dedication to his wife and children.

His ears are not a big as Dumbo's ears.

It is akin to Ty Cobb's "compliment" of Babe Ruth- "He is pretty fast for a fat guy".

The most positive thing I can say about Obama is that he is keeping Joe Biden from being the President.

At least conservatives have not taken to calling him "B.O.!" Actually, there seem to be less hateful words about him than on Clinton. Of course, Clinton lied more and was a Southerner. And I have heard no personal attacks on the first lady. Compare that to the constant barrage back then against the now Secretary of State.
