Aren't you one of the ones who thought the term "teabaggers" was disrespectful due to sexual undertones? This post is full of sexual innuendo.

CBS and NBC Finally Catch Up to ACORN Scandal; Express Sympathy for the Left-Wing Group

In the first story on CBS since the scandal broke last week, on Tuesday’s Evening News, anchor Katie Couric reported: "The grassroots community organization called ACORN helps low-income Americans find affordable housing and gets tens of millions of dollars in government funding. But as Cynthia Bowers reports, that may be coming to an end after a scandal caught on tape."

I wonder why none of these people manage to ever say anything about the ACORN breakins at foreclosed houses in Houston of which maybe none of were ever owned by ACORN supported people. They broke locks on those foreclosed homes and turned them over to homeless people. How did that manage to be something that was really good for poor people. Breaking the law is breaking the law.

Also, I don't think we should hold our collective breaths waiting on Bertha Lewis and her crowd to sue Fox or Breitbart. To do that she will have to suffer through discovery which would call for opening their books completely along with other things they would have to tell. She made lots of threats in the beginning and then started backing off.

I dont know about dcs.... but I sure did.

as for tingling in legs, that was Chris Mathews who has stated openly on his MSNBC show that he thinks it is his JOB to advance Obama's agenda....

and teabagger is an overtly sexual reference that is being used by "news" people about Americans who are protesting. It is sick and disgusting.

but that is what is the expected path for liberals. sick and disgusting and without a shred of respect for anyone.

dont be shocked when you get that back.

If MSNBC is so "associated" with Obama, then why did they have 2 x more GOPPERS than Dems on for the Stim "discussion", and for Health Care?

The Washington Post Ombudsman in yesterday's edition. Short version-the Post was ignoring Fox and other consevative outlets and dropped the ball.

Related: Annapolis elects a Mayor this year. The winner of the Democratic primary last week dropped out and then dropped back in over the weekend when court records going back 20 years showed a lot of financial judgements against her. The editor of the Annapolis Capital apologized yesterday for falling down on the job and not vetting her in the same way the other candidates were vetted.

Couldn't agree more. If the Post were on its toes, they'd have a team plugged into Beck and the rest every day and have an article exposing their lies on the web within an hour...

Except, and you're smarter than this, Beck and others are talking heads/opinion presenters, not reporters. The Ombudsman was talking about the reporting end of the Post, not the editorial.

And why did they donate 2+ million dollars to get Bush elected?

The piece was entitled Wrongly Deaf to Right-Wing Media, the first proper name that appears in it is Glenn Beck, and the two stories that Mr. Alexander feels the Post let slide somehow were ACORN and Van Jones, two cases where the bulk of the story had to do with the degree of apocalyptic (to use Alexander's word) right-wing hype raised over them.

If the right-wing media want more mainstream attention, go ahead and give it to them. But start by showing how very, very rarely these right-wing media will conform to anything resembling actual reportorial and editorial standards and ethics.

You mean like the standards Rather and company used?
Or like when a journalist pays people in Iraq to stage a protest?
Sag believe it or not I actually enjoy your posts and more often than not learn a thing or two from them.
I agree with you that the right wing media embellishes, and misleads the viewer in an attempt to push their own agenda.
Can anyone honestly say that the left doesn't do the same thing?
The operative word is honestly.
