Because they -- like everybody else -- knew the screw-up Republicans were going to go down in flames. Who wants to waste money on a bunch of guaranteed losers?

I agree, but they shouldn't pretend to be Republicans anymore.

I am assuming you are referring to Sarah Palin. What does Karl Rove have to do with her being chosen as McCain's running mate?

Good, I never liked it either.

Ms. Snowe has not endorsed either Democratic

But in an interview, she offered a surprisingly
robust endorsement of Mr. Obama’s skepticism
about expanding government too much, his willingness
to accommodate different views and his assertion
that Washington must act now after decades of failure.

This is no surprise, she has been on the fence the through all of this. WE will see what happens when something does happen.

How many names will she be called for simply voicing her viewpoint and being willing to work with the President?

People have made it plain that they will never assist this administration now matter how it may benefit the country, party affiliation is more important than loyalty to the nation!!
You've got it exactly backward. Our Senators and Representatives were not sent to Washington to "assist this administration." They were sent to do what's in the best interests of their constituents and the nation as a whole. Republicans have advanced market-based solutions to the specific problems of our health care delivery systems. That's what's good for the nation whether or not it assists this administration.

Who's would that be???

Got stats to prove who has the best health care in the world?

Why is it the best? (in your opinion)
The only stats needed are the fact that people around the world vote with their feet and their money to come to America for health care.

Well, why not? Where is it written that a congressperson has to agree with their party 100% of the time?
