I second that emotion! The ancient Greeks certainly understood this; Socrates spoke of the need for "gadflies." People may try to denigrate him,
but Roger and Me has proven to be almost prophetic. Michael Moore does
good work on behalf of the American people, and I respect him for that; as you urge, delusianne...get busy, people!
Me too!
Absolutely, Michael Moore is good for America. I say, keep up the good work
Pointing out the obvious is not what MM specialized in 99% of the rest of the time.
MM said to Larry King that Wall Street wants people unemployed.
Where are MM's proof or facts or even common sense as to how he came to that conclusion? Or all of a sudden he's an economist with a PhD from Wharton and that somehow got lost in his credits?
Bending and twisting situations to make a movie more salable to a certain group of people who lean one way politically, is different. He intentionally misrepresents situations to make money...in a capitalistic society.
He has never lived in Hollywood. His company is based in Mich.
As far as I know Michael Moore has never had anything to do with Hollywood.
Yes! I liked when he went to San Francisco in the movie Roger and Me, when he looked around and remarked that everyone in SF was employed, but no one was working.
This is a perfect example of the Dumbing Down of America. It also explains why Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin make the NYT bestseller list, and why people take Glen Beck seriously.
And the same can be said in reverse while inserting names like "Michael Moore", "Bill Maher", etc. ...

Do you watch the stock market? Downsizing and automating makes a company more valuable = it's having to spend less money on labor. This sort of news is always good news on Wall Street.
This helps sum up Moore's documentary's, which, even though highly partisan, are also highly accurate. And at the end of the day, what matters is whether or not it is true. Moore uses facts and personal experiences. That he is highly partisan only turns off a large segment of people who would benefit from watching his documentary's.
Michale Moore does not make documentaries. He makes movies from his point of view.
You do know Michael Moore offers anyone $10,000 to prove any of his facts as being false.
