I guess we should believe you though, right?

She's quite the patriot, standing up in opposition to a radical leftist and his ruinous policies.

I guess the lefties have forgotten all those who went overseas and said horrible, vicious things about Bush.
One anonymous person thought she was brilliant. Several people thought she was boring. Most people thought she did a good job. Isn't that enough for you, that she did a good job? Why does it have to be "quite impressive, or even brilliant"? Why not, good job?

The fact that it wasn't open to the press, that she didn't have to deal with any aggressive reporters, is also part of this scenario. It's not quite as difficult to seem articulate when no one is challenging you. When she deals effectively with a public speech at which vocal opposition is present, then we can evaluate how impressive she is. At this point, we haven't learned anything new about Mrs Palin. She is an attractive woman who can give a prepared speech, and she can do that well.

All you're doing is speculating and trying to spin the quote into something it's not.

You need to be saying this to your brethren on the left.

I'm just going by what the participants said to refute the leftist spin - you don't like hearing it, too bad.

Yes and thank for including the world. I truly fear she is embarrassing the USA.

I'm not spinning anything, just taking the quotes from the participants and posting them.

Just burns you up, doesn't it?

And I'm just going by what the participants said to refute the right-wing spin. Please refrain from personal comments like the end of your post. It is unnecessary.

And again, is there something wrong with saying that her CLSA address was good? Why does it have to be "brilliant"?

Again, you seem to be getting personal.

Quotes from participants that left early are as valid as a quote from someone who wished to remain anonymous who thought she was "brilliant", aren't they?

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/24/us...4palin.html?hp

Were you there? How do you know it was "good"? Why should YOUR description of the event be given more weight than those that attended?

I expect it was good, but just because you describe it like that, doesn't make it so.
