I don't think you can paint the entire set of people that have worked or benefited through it's programs with the same brush. Apparently, this duo visited offices where people refused to help them and called the police on them.

There are always a few stupid nut cases that ruin things for the entire group. Remember the accounting company that went down b/c of cooked books at Enron/World Com. Certainly we don't think the entire company was crooked.
you said it yourself, you don't know much about ACORN. it is more than a few nut cases, much more.

As for helping poor people, I think giving an few examples might prove your point a little better. To me their claiming to be helping is or was just a cover up. I have thought this for years.
