Why are these cases becoming so common? Killing your children because "God" or "Satan" or a "spirit" told you to do so?
Mesac Damas, 32, said he wanted to take his own life, but did not have the courage to go through with it, "because if you kill yourself, you're not going to heaven."
Well, buddy. I have news for you. I doubt you are going to Heaven at all.
I am not saying to send him to the mental institution. But I am saying that we should execute him. Right now.
I have been to mental institutions....Are you going to make fun of that? I am a true thinking individual....For my self........I am only as crazy as you are....Just opposite...

This case is just horrible. Did spirits tell him to beat his wife up too? Yes, he's not going to heaven. I hope he has a one way straight ticket to Hell, via the State of Florida.
There have always and will always be mentally ill. If the government wants to spend my tax dollars on treating them I have no issue with it. Helping those who truly can't care for themselves is a good role for the government. The rest of you get to work.
This man, Mesac Damas, I actually knew his sister growing up. We went to the same schools for most of our lives.
I can't speak for Mesac, as I never met him, but his sister was never a pleasant person to be around. I won't elaborate on that. It isn't the time nor place for it.
The family is VERY religious, as most haitians are. From the looks of things, this member was not just relgious, but fanatical.
Nevertheless, my heart goes out to the Damas family for what they have lost. Children never deserve to die like this. And this guy thinks he is going to heaven? Pathetic.
