"Iran has not suspended its enrichment related activities or its work on heavy water related projects as required by the Security Council, nor has Iran implemented the Additional Protocol. Likewise, Iran has not cooperated with the Agency in connection with the remaining issues, detailed fully and completely in the Agency´s reports, which need to be clarified in order to exclude the possibility of there being military dimensions to Iran´s nuclear programme,"

Maybe he's going to follow Bush's strategy since that effectively had the Iranian's quaking in their boots:

U.S. intelligence officials said today that they have known about a newly disclosed Iranian nuclear facility for several years -- possibly as early as 2006 -- and that its dimensions and design all but rule out any civilian nuclear purpose.

Do you have any idea how small the world is today. It's not like the 1600's... Did you not notice how the economic turmoil of the US spread throughout the world in a very short time. On the contrary this is a problem for the entire world...

Ask yourself what you think would happen is Israel blew Iran off the map?

The most remarkable aspect of Mr Ahmadinejad's piety is his devotion to the Hidden Imam, the Messiah-like figure of Shia Islam, and the president's belief that his government must prepare the country for his return.

He is said to have gone into "occlusion" in the ninth century, at the age of five. His return will be preceded by cosmic chaos, war and bloodshed. After a cataclysmic confrontation with evil and darkness, the Mahdi will lead the world to an era of universal peace.

When an aircraft crashed in Teheran last month, killing 108 people, Mr Ahmadinejad promised an investigation. But he also thanked the dead, saying: "What is important is that they have shown the way to martyrdom which we must follow."

I'm sure you've heard of it. It kept the world on the brink of nuclear war, but kept everyone from going over the brink.

If Iran launched a nuclear attack, against any soverign nation, here are some examples of what could happen.

1. Israel would launch an immediate nuclear counter strike. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, they would immediately destroy every single Iranian citizen.

If Iran launched a nuclear attack against the United States, we would either invade, or nuke them. No President would ever sit in office, after a nuclear attack and do nothing.

Its never going to happen though. Iran wants to have the threat of nuclear weapons, nothing more, nothing less.
I think you give israel credit for having a lot more balls than they actually have.

I strongly disagree. The world would rather not see a war between Israel and Iran nor would they wish to see Iran strike Israel or vice versa because war between them would likely send the already precarious global economy into a tail spin.
