Since, we have been denounced as a Christian Nation by the first President who claims to be Christian, Islam feels safe to pray on Washington, DC............Just what are they REALLY praying for!!!
WAKE UP CHRISTIANS!!!!!
Ah, bigotry raises its ugly head yet again, opens its mouth, and vomits forth its incessant hatred. People like you disgust me. Our Constitution allows anyone in this country to practice their religion of choice, or to not practice religion at all. What is wrong with you that you wish to silence anyone that doesn't believe in your particular brand of hate?
There are far more people converting into Christianity than into Islam. As a matter of fact, if it were up to free choice, and not birth, Islam would soon seize to exist. Of course the number of Muslims is still increasing, but it is almost purely due to the fact that they are born into their religion as opposed to converted into it.
"Human by birth, Christian by choice". You know.... as opposed to just "Muslim, by birth".
When Christians or any other religion attempts to insert their doctrinal beliefs into government to pass laws, I and those like me are being oppressed. A perfect example would be the hubbub that the religious right is making about gay marriage. Two gay people who love each other should be able to marry, just like two heterosexual people are. The only reason they are not is because of religious bigots clinging to their ancient mouldering book of myths and lies. There are a lot more examplesModerator cut: don't get too personal please...

Thomas Jefferson predicted that Unitarianism would soon become the religion of a majority of Americans because of its rational and democratic nature. It's a pity he wasn't correct.
Well I do know if amnesty goes through the USA will definately become a Catholic nation with the way Hispanics breed. In 30 years you won't be able to turn your head in any city without seeing a statue or image of the Virgin Mary.
All organized religion is oppressive and indoctrinating. Only a handful of people understand. Everybody else is too moronic to understand that church leaders are suckering the masses.

Very well said. Imagine if the Jewish population lobbyed for legislation that determined all food consumed must be kosher and all male babies must be circumcised. Well, they haven't and religious beliefs should not be rammed down the throats of individuals that choose not to partake.
. People aren't converting to Islam, they are being born into it.
Exactly. And the point of this thread was to demonstrate the fact that people are CONVERTING to Christianity like never before.
Muslim population is still on the rise due to their high birth rates, but when it comes to making a personal and conscious choice about religion, people choose Christianity over Islam any day.
It is a victory for Christianity, since being born to a religion as in case of Islam doesn't mean much in my book.
The Chinese are making this choice and so are the Africans, and in US a new life has been breathed into Christianity. I don't remember seeing so many Christian movies before. I saw "gifted hands" last night and thought it was a great story (a true story) about the 'dumb' black Detroit kid who struggled in school but later converted into Christianity and was motivated by his mother and by his faith and he ended up being the best neurosurgeon in the world working at John Hopkins hospital. I forget the name of the actor, but he was the "show me the money" guy in the older Tom Cruise movie.

This is completely false. I personally know people who have converted to Islam. It was not the religion they were born with, and the chose that faith. Believe it or not, people do find many things appealing about Islam.
