Maybe and maybe not. I don't care to be honest. The very idea of federal force acting against civilians to me is repugnant. It brings back fuzzy warm feelings of joy like watching the mass murder at Waco.
Truer words were never written.

It's only going to be a scandal if/when FOX picks it up and starts screaming about it 24/7. Then we'll have to go the whole route of "hoax" after millions of sheeple already believe it happened. It probably was staged in a studio. There's a big film industry in Pittsburgh.

Me? A liberal? Usually, liberals are vehemently anti-military. I love the military - and would have no problem with them snatching one of these little punk anarchist for some sit-down chat.

Liberals support using the military to police our own citizens, just as you did. Your idealogy is very similar to Woodrow Wilson, LBJ, etc. You are speaking about classical liberalism in the context of not using military powers in a foreign theatre.
i don't know if the incident was as it appeared, but it was not staged in a studio. i know several people who were there. i can even see one of them in the video. if it was staged, it was staged at the actual protest.
and interesting that sanrene supports using the military against our own people, snatching them into a car with no formal arrest. how anti-american can you get? that's the kind of thing that happens in totalitarian dictatorships.
there were not nearly as many out of town people as expected, let alone people from other countries. there were only 500-1000 people at this march, and most of them were from pittsburgh and surrounding areas. i know numerous people who are housing protesters during this event and not one of those protesters is from another country.
and unlike you, i don't think that people from other countries are subhumans who don't deserve basic rights.
the job of punishing people even foreigners, for breaking the law belongs to the police, not the military.
