The woodland BDU has NOT been totally phased out. The Air Force is still issuing the woodland BDU and they are still available for purchase at some BXs. Some Navy SeeBees are still wearing the woodland BDU as well. I work within 10 minutes of both an Army and Air Force base and 30 minutes from a Naval base, and I interact with the people daily with my line of work.
there were not nearly as many out of town people as expected, let alone people from other countries. there were only 500-1000 people at this march, and most of them were from pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
Now, how in the world would you know that?
Every year, world-wide anarchists descend on the location where the event takes place.
I have no problem with police, national guard or military helping to round up these punks, who often are violent and trash property and possessions.
i would know that because i live here and personally know a good chunk of the activist community from here and elsewhere, and i know many people who were at the protest yesterday.
it's even been reported in the media that the out of town presence is much, much smaller than expected, despite a bunch of illegal police raids on homes suspected of housing protesters (i'm sure you support that too).

OK, when I was getting out of the AF they were issuing the ABU's to new basic trainees and people getting deployed. I figured they were pretty much gone by now, my mistake. At the same time, the woodland thing isn't the biggest red flag in the video by any means.
