Why are so many people eager to stir up a hornet's nest ? They want to sit, and experience self pleasuring while others burn. To their way of thinking, it doesn't matter who gets bombed, as long as the show goes on. Mangled "enemy" foreigners ? how exciting ! A surge of power below the belt ? Have another beer ! Buy a bigger tv screen. Sit there, and drool. dead women and children ? "They had it coming !" : (

It's because they have to be entertained. And what's more entertaining than a war that doesn't involve troops from your own country? It's a game; take any two countries (preferably from the same general region, otherwise a war isn't feasible. Bolivia declaring war on Thailand doesn't work!) and make up reasons why they're about to come out guns a-blazin'.

More fun than even reality TV. And just about as realistic.

I don't like Iran getting nukes, but there is far more danger of Russia or China letting nuclear warheads or nuclear technology fall into the wrong hands. Not to mention the threat from them doing something crazy or stupid or careless.
Our maintaining a stong missile defense system and a real nuclear deterrent is our best defense against anybody being targetted whether throughterrorism or rogue military action.

What does Israel say when it is asked to allow inspections of their own nuclear arsenal ?

"We don't have to. Uncle Sam says we don't. *********, we are USrael, and we are top dog, the big enchalada, the greatest wazoo of all times. We can tickle Atlas, and pull down his shorts, and the rest of the world can kiss our arsenal. "

yes, I would and I think it will come down to that
Obama is still trying to hold hand with Iran, he does not have the balls to do anything but flap his mouth.

That's what $3 billion in US military aid a year will get you..

But healthcare for American citizens is considered by many to be something we can't afford. How much do we really get in return for all the money we spend on Israel, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, etc--just a big f**king headache.

Of course not, in NeoConfused land there's nation building to be done, we couldn't possibly expect them to favor the US government focusing on Americans.
