If the real issue is United States vs. Iran, then the only thing I might support would be a US military attack on Iran--and that would require some pretty solid evidence (as opposed to us getting involved in a war like the one in Iraq over WMD that didn't even exist).
Do we really need a surrogate to fight our battles for us?

ProudCap, I thank you very much for your service, and agree with you on many issues. But I have to disagree here. I think it is time israel takes care of itself, if in fact it can.
I would vote for immediate sanctions against Israel and the cutoff of all aid. It is an unprovoked attack.
If Israel attacks I doubt that others will just sit by and watch it all happen. An aggressive act by Israel could just start the chain reaction of a world war, with nuclear weapons.
